tomorrow will bring the beginning of three days of bedlum though. Its "Shrinp Fest Weekend" here again an the population will grow by about 40.000 people, vendors, artists and tourists.
Three days of great music. I personally favor the music of "RPM" Rock and Pop Masters, they're made up of a great band and the lead singers of some of the best know bands of the 70's and 80's. Orleans, Pablo Cruise, Ambrosia, Edgar Winters, Bad Company, are just some of the many groups we've seen put together. the Amazing thing is if you have a Dream band you'd like to hear again, they'll put it together for you. I'm so depressed. I awoke this morning to find a note from Larry Hoppen, voice of Orleans, and organizer or RPM. He said... "Sorry Dave but We're not playing the Shrimp Fest this year".
ReplyDeleteSo... As it turns out, "The Atlanta Rythm section was scheduled to replace RPM this year center stage at the Isle of 8 Flags, Fernandina Shrimp Festival. If you follow me wou would know that Monday Ronnie Hammond, the voice of the Atlanta Rythm Section Died on Monday. Now I need to be there to see who will perform.
