Beauty in my Life

There are many things of beauty in my life.  I surround my self with beauty when I can.  I roam the earth in search of things that tantilize my imagination.  My camera captures what my old mind would soon forget, if I didn't keep photos as reminders of what I have experienced.
I love to share those captures, so others can enjoy them too. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer.

Peaceful Harbor

It's a calm night on the river.
tomorrow will bring the beginning of three days of bedlum though.  Its "Shrinp Fest Weekend" here again an the population will grow by about 40.000 people, vendors, artists and tourists.

Three days of great music.  I personally favor the music of "RPM" Rock and Pop Masters,  they're made up of a great band and the lead singers of some of the best know bands of the 70's and 80's.  Orleans, Pablo Cruise, Ambrosia, Edgar Winters, Bad Company, are just some of the many groups we've seen put together.  the Amazing thing is if you have a Dream band you'd like to hear again,  they'll put it together for you.  The more artist requested the longer the concert guarantee and they'll show up and all you need to provide is airfare and accommodations.  Visit their Web Site ...  http://www.rockandpopmasters.com/

Big Brother

Its tough being the big brother when all the attention is shifted to someone you just met.  After all up until an hour ago, I was the baby here.

Cough Cough

A weekend of yard work and had to take two days off to recover from an ALLERGY over load.  Back to work but barely making it.  I was better off being Barely at home.

Fishing As It Should Be

Bait your own Hook
Now everyone needs to play "Naked Twister" Once in their life.

Day is done...  Gone the sun.

Dusk... my favorite time of day
Time to remember your accomplishments.
To remember your desires.
A time of day to relax with your special someone.
Share it when you can.
Sieze the moment so it won't go to waste.
Enjoy the beauty that God shares with us.

Peaceful Evenings

There is just something about being on or near the water as the sun is setting.  The wind seems to pause and the calm comes over everything.  The sky turns into a spectrum of fiery delight.   The serenity is just overwhelming.  I try to carry my camera everywhere.  I never know when there will be an evening sight to remember.  I’m glad to have had a camera with me this night.

Equil Time

Grand Pa is not supposed to have favorites, so equal time is in store.  I can’t forget this little man, Colin.  He is growing up so quick.  He got a two wheeler for Christmas and for the longest time his mom could not get him to understand the concept of peddling.  Since being in the new house with a quiet streets and sidewalks, peddling is the greatest learned motor skill. What Mom couldn’t teach in 4 months, a friend taught him in four minutes.  Braking was next and that took about 10 minutes and 3 crashes.  Now he is riding for hours every day.
Grand Pa still has trouble understand his speech, Mom taught him to whine very well, and diction at 4 years old is still being perfected.  You know he’s learning when he comes home from riding with his mom and he says, “Papa I just whipped ass away from Mommy”.

This is Felicia, my seventeen year old Oscar

alive and doing well...   I wonder how long she can live

Almost 4 pounds and 12 ans a half inches

I really need to do this more often

I wanted to do this for some time.  My good intentions are often left behind.  I had a Yahoo 360 blog, but about the time I really got into it,  Yahoo terminated 360.  So here I go again.  I hope this stays afloat for a longer duration.

There is a little girl in my life who means the world to me.  She's almost seven now and has been the daughter that I never had of my own.  I've raised her since birth with short interruptions when her mom thinks she can provide for her on her own.  But she keeps coming home to Papa. She loves horses, and I wish I could give her one or at least equestrian training.  That’s my goal.  I want to give her back just some of the pleasure she has brought to me.  Amaya is the daughter of my step-daughter and truly a love of my life.  She is an 1st Grade honor student, readying far beyond the norm her teacher says.
